DMS3000 Lite

The DMS 3000-Lite has been developed as a cost effective alternative to the fully functional and versatile DMS 3000 sound store. Using industry standard MP3 compression. Audio data is stored on SD memory card which can be recorded using any PC equipped with a SD card reader. The DMS 3000-Lite can be supplied as line level output or with an on-board 8W + 8W amplifier minimizing the need for external amplification in many situations.

Applications:

The DMS range of sound stores are ideally suited to audio applications in theme parks, multi-lingual applications, sound effects, public announcements or directions, emergency evacuations, background music and advertising, museum or trade displays, and numerous other applications.

DMS 3000-Lite: Card only for 3U Subrack units or custom housing.  

DMS 3000 8W-Lite: Card only with 8 + 8 watt on-board amplifier.  

DMS 3010-Lite: 1U case + DMS 3000-Lite card Line level output. 

DMS 3020-Lite: 1U case + DMS 3000-Lite card with 20W+20W Amplifier. 

DMS 3050-Lite: Compact stand alone Alloy case with DMS 3000-Lite card. (Supplied with external power supply) 

DMS 3060-Lite: Compact stand alone Alloy case with DMS 3000 8W-Lite card. (Supplied with external power supply) 

DMS SUBRACK: 19" 3U Subrack capable of holding 9 cards.

General Information

Trip inputs

Up to eight messages can be directly selected via contact closure.

Trip levels.

Trip inputs can be configured as active high or active low which allows the use of normally open or normally closed trigger contacts.

One shot.

Trip inputs can be configured with a one shot option which prevents a message repeating if the trip line is still active at the end of a message.

Audio output - Selectable on board

Line level +3dB into 600 Ohms (DMS 3000-Lite).

Amplified 8W + 8W into 4 Ohms (DMS 3000 8W -Lite).

LCD Display.

The DMS3000-Lite has the ability to interface directly to a standard 2 line by 16 character display to give information to the user such as message name and number and status information. (standard on 1U case versions)

Audio outputs via 2 x 6.3mm stereo Jack sockets (rear panel) Trip inputs and control functions are accessed via a 25 way D-Type socket (rear panel). Volume, Bass, treble and Bass boost/Timer are accessed via front panel controls.
